Late Kamta Prasad Sharma B.Ed. College is Recognised by National Council for Teacher Education, Govt. of India and is Affiliated to Magadh University, Bodh Gaya (Bihar).
The College is in a well equipped building with well equipped laboratories, library and other essential facilities as required by the National Council for Teacher Education. It is established in the peaceful area and well communicated from SH-24
The scarcity of trained teachers is quite evident from the fact that the vacancy announced and published as such by the Government of Bihar. Turning to the eastern region, we have a found that the neighboring states like Bengal, Orissa and other states, do have a huge demand of such hands but at present there is no way to get trained teachers for teaching in Government Sector with similar situation prevailing in Private Sector too.
In near future, the National Council for Teacher Education is thinking of improvement in Indian Education pattern for meeting competition on global scale. To add to the intensity and gravity of the problem aforesaid, the private sector, affiliated and non affiliated institution up to +2 level will also make it mandatory on the teachers to be appointed that they must be trained as per the pattern mentioned above. In view of the situation prevailing on the national and international horizon.
“Late Kamta Prasad Sharma B.Ed. College” is preparing in the way to train teachers. This institute will leave no stone unturned to achieve the goal by providing all facilities to the trainees in right earnest.
RESERVATION OF SEATS
The college follow strictly the policy of reservation of the Govt. of Bihar in case, there is no candidate for reserved categories, the seats will be offered to candidates outside these categories.
FOREIGN STUDENT & NRI
Seats are also reserved for Foreign and NRO students as per direction from Govt. of Bihar. They should have proper equivalent qualification approved by the Govt. of India, Ministry of HRD. Application for admission test should be made in the prescribed from which can be obtained from the college office or authorizes centers. Application received after the closing date or incomplete in any respect will be rejected.
DISCIPLINE
All students admitted to the college will be under the complete disciplinary control of the administration of the college or any other officer appointed by the college for the purpose and must conduct themselves in accordance will disciplinary rules of the college as farmed and notified by the principal from time to time.
GENERAL LIBRARY FACILITIES
The college has been provided with good library and the students are advised to make full use of the same. Well equipped library with text and reference book, Education Encyclopedia, Year Book, Electronic publication, CD-ROM and journals on teacher education.
LABORATORIES
Book of Science, Psychology, Health Education, Physiology and Anatomy laboratory with apparatus for experiments related to education are available.
PLAYGROUND
Games facilities with a playground, Yoga, Indoor games are also available. TEST PATTERN
B.Ed Test will be objective. Questions related to test will be graduation level and subjects will be like General Knowledge, General Science, General Social Science, Hindi, English, Mathematics, Teaching aptitude and Reasoning.
